Esther

Esther is a courageous and wise Jewish woman who became queen of Persia. Chosen for her beauty, she used her influence to save her people from a plot to destroy them. Guided by her cousin Mordecai, Esther risked her life by approaching King Xerxes. Her bravery and faith led to the deliverance of her people, and her story is celebrated in the Jewish festival of Purim.
