Saul

Saul was the first king of Israel, anointed by the prophet Samuel. Initially a humble leader, Saul’s reign was marked by military success, but he later disobeyed God's commands, leading to his rejection as king. His jealousy of David, who would succeed him, consumed him, and Saul ultimately died in battle. His story highlights the consequences of disobedience and the struggle between pride and faith.
