Peter

Peter, originally named Simon, was one of Jesus’ twelve apostles and a key leader in the early Christian church. A fisherman by trade, he was called by Jesus to follow Him and became known for his boldness and strong faith. Though Peter famously denied Jesus three times before the crucifixion, he later repented and became a powerful preacher after the resurrection.
